About Me

 

I’m an editor, writer, reporter, digi-curator, opinionated tweeter, and content creator. I polished my writing chops while receiving a Masters in journalism (with a focus on magazine writing) from NYU…after graduating from Quinnipiac University with dual-Bachelor degrees in public relations and Spanish. My full-time job is as the editor of Vix.com, where we cater to (hold your gasps) millennials!

Before I got to the age when I actually had to start thinking about what I wanted a career in, my mom would tell me, “You’re going to be a writer, Katerina.” Guess she was right! I’m a natural born writer, but even more so, an editor. Every thought that passes through my mind filters out as that of an editor’s. I just can’t help it. I’m not just an editor at work, I’m an editor to all of my friends and family. When one of my best friends wants to start a blog, they come to me seeking guidance. When another family member is applying to college, they run their application essays past my eyes first. So it’s about time I started to share the editor’s mind with anyone who needs one!
